Pumpkin Hamburger Barbecue


1 ½ pounds ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 (12 ounce) bottle chili sauce
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed tomato soup, undiluted
½ cup canned pumpkin
1 tsp salt
½ tsp pumpkin pie spice
¼ tsp pepper
6 hamburger buns, split


Cook ground beef and onion in a large skillet over medium heat until meat is no longer pink. Drain the grease from the meat, then add all remaining ingredients (except hamburger buns). Stir and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat, then cover and let simmer for 1 hour. Serve on buns.
