Mild Pumpkin Chili
Ingredients:
3 lbs hamburger
2 medium onions, diced
2 (15 oz.) cans diced tomatoes
1 (15 oz.) can light kidney beans
1 (15 oz.) can dark kidney beans
1 (15 oz.) can pumpkin
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp chili powder
¼ tbsp red pepper flakes
1 tsp salt
Directions:
In a medium skillet, brown hamburger on the stove top until cooked through. Mix all ingredients together and put in a slow cooker on low for 2-3 hours or in a large kettle on the stove top until warm. Serve.
Option: top with shredded cheese or add hot peppers to taste.
