8 large oranges, peeled and sectioned
½ cup sugar
½ cup orange marmalade
1 cup white grape juice
½ cup lemon-lime soda
3 tablespoons slivered almonds, toasted
3 tablespoons flaked coconut, toasted
Place the orange sections in a large bowl and set aside. Place sugar and marmalade in a medium saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in grape juice and soda. Pour the mixture over the orange sections and toss until evenly coated. Cover the oranges and refrigerate overnight. Before serving, remove the oranges from the dish with a slotted spoon and arrange on a serving platter. Sprinkle with almonds and coconut and serve.
