Summer Snacks On-The-Go
Summer is winding down and we're taking a couple of last minute road trips before the kids go back to school. Since we don't have a lot of extra money to spend on vacations this year, we're taking day trips to local lakes and parks and packing our own lunches, snacks and dinners. One of my favorite snacks to pack for my family is a variety of snack mixes. My kids love the mixes with peanuts, pretzels and chocolate candy pieces. My husband's favorite mixes include anything flavored with Cajun seasoning, while I prefer a mix with healthy ingredients such as nuts, seeds and dried fruits. I make one stop in the bulk aisle and head to the checkout counter with a variety of mixes to please everyone's tastes. This is just one of the ways that I'm able to keep my family happy while making memories on the road simply through the discoveries I've made in the bulk food aisle.

Why Would I Shop on the Bulk Food Aisle When There's Only Two of Us?
There are only two of us at home now, so why would I shop on the BULK FOOD Aisle? Well, much to my surprise, the BULK FOOD Aisle does not mean items in large sizes, it actually means it was brought into the store in a BULK size and broken down into a variety of sizes. I also thought that only the staples could be found on the BULK FOOD Aisle. You know what I mean, bread, flour, sugar, salt and so on. What I found is that there are a variety of natural and organic items, snack mixes, meals-n-minutes, candy, dip mixes, cereals and so much more. In addition, the packaging is more convenient and environmentally friendly. I am glad I checked out the BULK FOOD Aisle, I found a great variety and a much better price than national brands!
